Shay Addams

Shay Addams has studied the Mayan calendars and culture since 1963, and was subsequently introduced to Western astrology, Tarot and the I-Ching. For more than three years he has researched, studied and practiced Mayan astrology in the Guatemalan highlands.

His 2011 book, The Mayan Calendar User Guide: How to Apply Mayan Astrology to Your Daily Life, explains using Mayan astrology for individual and relationship readings, scheduling activities and life guidance. It explains Mayan cosmovision the 260-day Sacred Calendar and the nahuales, or spirits, and their meanings, and tells how to perform authentic Mayan ceremonies. All in the tradition of contemporary Mayan spiritual guides in Guatemala.
