What is your personal opinion of this film/program, as entertainment?
The graphics were great!! I'll give them that much, very entertaining!! Although I would not take children or it might frighten them as they see 2012 date get closer!
What is your personal opinion of this film/program as a social and/or cultural message? Does it succeed or fail in this regard?
I feel that this program was nothing but propaganda. I have read a lot of books on the subject of 2012 and there is no scientific proof, nor any 2012 book that backs up what they claim on this film! I would like to know 'who really' is behind this film? because there is no doubt in my mind that it was done for the ultimate reason and purpose of frightening people to death.
What impact do you feel the movie will likely have on the way people worldwide will perceive the Mayan Calendar?
Nothing but a propaganda to manipulate the public!! To what end? only they and God knows! I think that people that have not read any books on 2012 will be very frightened! I think that anyone w/ bad self esteem, people w/ a lot of family problems, relationship problems, unstable emotionally or mentally, people who cannot control their fear, emotions or anger could develop some very big problems during the time of 2012 after watching this movie! and I am not exaggerating!!
If you had the chance to remake this film/program, what would you do differently?
Re-do the whole thing!!:) Is good entertainment, but don't take your children and if you tend to be a sensitive person don't watch it!! It will scare you to death to think that all those horrible things could happen!

I would not recommend it! WHY? read all of my other answers!
What would you like to say to the film's director, and/or the production studio?
I would like to ask him, who payed him SO MUCH MONEY that he was willing to make this very disturbed, frightening look at our future! Because this is not just a movie that you go home and know that 'Jason, or the Allien etc etc' does not exist!! This is about a subject that people have talked about for ages, wondering what it will be like in our own future!!
("2012" only) Roland Emmerich is allegedly planning a television series "post 2012". What do you think of this idea?
It will just be a big 'drama', I would not care for it! The only purpose will be to add to the whole drama of the movie.
