A fantastic disaster movie about global destruction and the way that all of creation is poised to help those who are supposed to survive. I believe that the true message of this movie is hope. Always keep your hopes and expectations up and the universe will provide everything that you need, even if that need is for the universe to move an entire continent by 1000 miles.
What is your personal opinion of this film/program, as entertainment?
I loved it!!!!! This film was fantastic. Oh, not only the special effects, which were fantastic, but everything in general. The storyline was amazing, the characters were great. I especially loved the hero Charlie Frost, portrayed by Woody Harrelson. Here was a man who was tuned in to the universe! Here was a man who appreciated the perfection of "the bigger picture" and he never doubted it. Thusly, his last moments were the happiest of his life as he witnesses the largest volcanic explosion in the US in 10,000+ years!
What is your personal opinion of this film/program as a social and/or cultural message? Does it succeed or fail in this regard?
It is a perfect social/cultural message. It says "EVEN IF IT APPEARS AS IF THE WORLD IS ENDING, THE UNIVERSE WILL LINE EVERYTHING UP FOR YOU PERFECTLY. DO NOT EVER DOUBT THIS. THE UNIVERSE LOVES YOU (AND ALL HUMANS) AND WILL MOVE THE EARTH ITSELF FOR YOU IF NECESSARY. YOU ARE IN A PERFECT PLACE AND IT WILL ALL WORK OUT IN THE END."
What impact do you feel the movie will likely have on the way people worldwide will perceive the Mayan Calendar?
I think that people have become much more aware of the Mayan calendar in recent years. I think that a further awareness was necessary in the Grand Scheme of Things.
If you had the chance to remake this film/program, what would you do differently?
Nothing! This film was flawless!!
Would you recommend this film/program to your family, friends and colleagues? Why or why not?
Of course, and I have! It is an incredibly uplifting movie and I have told all of my friends to watch it!

It will be wildly successful! People will be hooked. Rebuilding the world will be fun!
