I am boycotting the film "2012" because I am tired of the fear mongering.
What is your personal opinion of this film/program, as entertainment?
I have also been guided to write my own screenplay about 2012 because I want to do what I can to bring people together around this exciting time - to see these events as opportunities rather than something to be feared. I have some interest in it from Hollywood Producers already, which proves that among some in the industry, there is a genuine interest in helping people make The Shift rather than exploiting it for their own gain.
What is your personal opinion of this film/program as a social and/or cultural message? Does it succeed or fail in this regard?
What impact do you feel the movie will likely have on the way people worldwide will perceive the Mayan Calendar?
Hopefully they will be curious and learn the truth.
If you had the chance to remake this film/program, what would you do differently?
I have made my own, titled, "The Shift" which is much much different from Emmerich's. My film shows the ways in which resistance to the loving, transformational energy of this time can make things more tumultuous for us Humans. "The Shift" helps us discover ways we can come together to work with these energies.
Would you recommend this film/program to your family, friends and colleagues? Why or why not?
No, but I would recommend they learn more and get involved in spreading the positive message of 2012.
What would you like to say to the film's director, and/or the production studio?
("2012" only) Roland Emmerich is allegedly planning a television series "post 2012". What do you think of this idea?
I have not seen the film, so I cannot comment on what his views of this might be.
