Before the Rooster Crows
Location
Only a handful sorry to say.
I wake up every morning to see how to best celebrate the day. Yes i combine the Gregorian calendar with the Mayan as some have moved to the Mayan calendar the rest of society is on the Gregorian. Days that i forget what day it is on the calendar or the week makes me so happy and now i see how time just flys right by and more spiritually too as im not always thinking of dates and bills that you get hooked into with the Gregorian calendar. Also when there are synchronized as they were this summer the start of the Gregorian month started at 1 and the Mayan tzolk'n started at 1 so for 13 days they were in sync. I also celebrated when the tsolk'n read 13 Ahau the last of the #'s and the last of the day sign's.
Yes i do i wake up every morning and the first thing i do is look at the daily tzolk'n so that i can plan my whole day on what i should be celebrating. On dog days i might give a little special attention and love to my dog, on wisdom days i listen to Gahandi and Martin Luther King speeches to help me on my journey, on shaman days i try to go into the forest and be one with nature or meditate to heal mother earth, i always try and celebrate Ahau (the day of the sun). I was born May 13th, 1982 (4 Ahau) this is also what the calendar reads when it ends. A year ago i dropped everything i was doing in life and switched over to the Mayan calendar waking up each morning to a fresh sheet a man on a mission as if i was being called to prepair for these times in order to help those that are confused and scared in the world. I started my business and named it "Before the Rooster crows" i felt it fit the times it means before all hell breaks loose "the calm before the storm" as it where. Also i wake up really early and it puts a smile on my face if im up and on my research before the rooster crows. I have changed so much since learning the calendar and i think im just breaking the iceberg. I know that this year i have influenced manny people and have seen vast changes in the world and other people in a positive way and its no surprise since where in a year of light. I hate to see things turn bad and even though i told my friends and family we would have a good summer now with us moving into a year of darkness on Nov 2009-Nov 2010 im telling them better hang on for a rocky ride.
Well being born on 4 Ahau during the final times of the calendar i feel as if i am here on a mission to help others in a great time of need. The problems i have encountered are people look at me crazy thinking my new religion is a spiritual calendar. Most of the things i speak of are so far out that they cant even conceive of a world that is not run in a material fashion. I have come to the realization that we are all spiritual beings and are having a human experience and that we should not put all our eggs in this material basket that we are still living in from the 90's. We must come together and be one with mother earth, love her and nourish her through this transition not fight her.
I am so much more of a spiritual person than i was. Before i used to go out on friday and saturday night to the bars the clubs and then to church on sunday. Now i dont go to bars or clubs or church and i celebrate everyday in its own rite. I live a much happier life since im living for each day rather than living for the weekend or holidays that i would rather not celebrate. One of the benefits i have done is plan out the next few years of up and coming events that co-inside with the mayan calendar, as well i looked at my up and coming birth dates to see what my themes are going to be for the next few years. This year is all about me spreading the word though social settings, journalism, and art. This might explain why im righting this.
I wish everyone all the best through this transition. I urge people to keep their heads up, and their spirits high.
