How many in your family/community/group are living with the Mayan calendar?
None that I know of. But I talk about it to people at every opportunity.
How do you use the Mayan Calendar in your everyday life? Do you combine it with the Gregorian calendar?
I’ve coordinated the Gregorian, Long Count, Haab, Calendar Round, Galactic Underworld, Tzolkin, and days passed the beginning of the 1260 days in the book of revelations that will end with the return of Christ in an Excel spread sheet. Each morning I update the spreadsheet for the day and meditate and reflect on the “message”. I check my calendrics against several computer and websites to be sure my count is correct.
How has the Mayan Calendar influenced or changed your way of life or thinking?
The Calendar has provided a “scaffolding” upon which I lay my activates of the day and world events. Things seem to be going according to plan.
What challenges or difficulties have you encountered in integrating the Mayan Calendar into your daily life?
Not much. I’ve been a mediator for years. I find the Calendar to be another meditation tool.
What do you feel are the benefits of living with the Mayan Calendar?
Allows me to project a Future and give meaning to personal and world events.
